The Advantage and Disadvantage of Solar Energy

When I first decided that I was going to get involved in getting Solar installed on my home, I had no idea about the advantages and disadvantages of Solar Energy. Now I know. Now, I can look back and realize just how much this has helped me. Here are some of the benefits I have discovered that I am so glad I knew about before. What to know before purchasing solar.
First, having a renewable source of power is a wonderful thing. It makes you feel less dependent on the power companies. It also gives you more freedom and independence. You won't have to rely on the power companies, which is a good thing.
The second advantage is that it is great for the environment. It is clean energy, which is really a better way to go. There are no emissions and the only byproduct is water vapor. This means that it is a much cleaner energy source than the traditional way of getting power.
The third advantage is that I don't have to worry about running the wires. This used to be the case with me. It is much more convenient to have them professionally installed. Plus, it saves me a lot of money. I save so much on my electric bill each month that I think about doing it myself, but then I don't want to mess with the wiring.
I didn't even know there were several advantages and disadvantages of it until a friend pointed them out to me. She explained that there are a few disadvantages, but if you use the methods, you won't have any. Now that she told me about that I will definitely want to pursue this further.
One thing that I will definitely do to take advantage of this advantage and disadvantage of solar energy is to have direct sunlight almost all of the time. I will always try to be out in the sunshine. I also think about installing solar flood lights as well. They might be a little more expensive than regular electric lights, but they will save me money in the long run. In the long run I think it will be much cheaper.
I will also be installing some sort of battery storage system once I get more familiar with this whole solar energy thing. My goal is to store enough solar energy to not have to use it all up during the day. I really don't want to spend all of it in one day, but I guess I have to look at the bigger picture. I don't want to build up a huge electrical bill.
Another advantage and disadvantage of solar energy are the storage system. This might be something that I have to set up on my own, but my family recommends it. It's nice to have some sort of back up plan, especially during those times when we need to have some power.
These are just a couple of things that I have found out about this advantage and disadvantage of solar energy. Now that I understand it, I can see why some people would want to get into it. I am planning on getting a solar system installed in my house at some point. I hope I get off the grid sooner rather than later. I am also considering creating some green energy for my appliances as well. Until then, I am just happy knowing there are an advantage and disadvantage of solar energy to consider.
